New Term Welcome: Character, Kindness and Curiosity at the Heart

As the new term begins, St John’s Priory School is renewing its focus on core values of kindness, curiosity, resilience and humility. Head Teacher Mrs Jenkin has emphasised that while academic achievement is important, the development of thoughtful, caring young people remains central to the school’s ethos.

Throughout the term, pupils will engage in assemblies, workshops and class-activities which explore what it means to be kind, to learn actively, and to respond positively when faced with challenges. The pastoral programme works closely with the academic curriculum to ensure that each pupil is supported in their entire school journey — intellectually, socially and emotionally.
